J&H Lanmark is a locally-owned specialty outdoor store, offering a wide array of products for those that enjoy backpacking, camping, hiking, kayaking, and/or climbing.
J&H was founded in 1972 as an army surplus store. Our name came from the two men who founded J&H, Danny Johnson and John Hall. The original store was located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. As J&H’s loyal customer base grew and evolved, J&H began offering outdoor apparel, equipment and supplies. Today, we are Central Kentucky’s OUTDOOR HEADQUARTERS!Our top priority is to provide you with the best customer service possible.
